Muay Thai Therapy
Confidence. Strength. Empowerment. Resiliency.
Because physical health is mental health.
Humans are complex, and sometimes we need more than just talk therapy. Tending to our physical wellbeing is crucial to our overall wellness.

Exercise, nutrition, and sleep are important facets of physical wellness. Together in therapy, we will consider the ways that increased movement can benefit your life. You may wish to:

-
Work towards wholistic wellness in therapy by incorporating exercise into our sessions
-
Learn Martial Arts to achieve growth and improved wellbeing
Why Muay Thai Therapy?
I never understood the benefits of Martial Arts until I tried it myself. I fell in love with Muay Thai and the ways it has helped me to feel strong, capable, and powerful. It is a sport that has challenged me physically, intellectually, and spiritually, and that encourages me to better myself every day.
Being a social worker, I was naturally interested in the parallels between trauma-focused healing and practicing Muay Thai. Movement is such an important aspect to healing, and Muay Thai allows us to move in ways that increase our mind-body connection, which is a skill that also supports healthy mental health.
Martial Arts also teach us respect, discipline, and self-control. It helps to empower us and build self-esteem, while we become healthier, stronger, and more capable individuals. It reduces stress while improving our ability to focus, and allows us to connect with others to build community.
